ABZ Innovation introduces the new C30 industrial cleaning drone

ABZ Innovation, a European developer and manufacturer of heavy-duty civilian drones for agriculture and industry, has launched the C30, a water-jet drone designed for demanding cleaning at height. Paired with dedicated ground equipment, it delivers 500 bar (7,250 psi) and up to 30 litres (7.9 gallons) per minute to surfaces up to 120 metres (394 feet) high: bridges, steel structures, tanks, silos, wind turbine blades and industrial façades currently accessed using scaffolding, cranes or rope-access teams.

ABZ Innovation introduces the new C30 industrial cleaning drone

ABZ Innovation, a European developer and manufacturer of heavy-duty civilian drones for agricultural and industrial use, has launched the C30, an industrial water-jet drone designed for the toughest cleaning jobs at height. Paired with dedicated ground equipment, it delivers 500 bar of pressure and up to 30 litres of water per minute to surfaces up to 120 metres high: bridges, steel structures, tanks, silos, wind turbine blades and industrial façades currently reached with scaffolding, cranes or rope-access teams. The C30 is built around a physical principle that only a heavy-lift platform can fully exploit: pressure alone does not clean an industrial surface. High pressure breaks bonded deposits, coatings and rust away from the substrate.

Thirty years of build-up, removed in less than a day

Before launch, ABZ Innovation put the C30 to work at an operating industrial site in Visonta, Hungary. On a 600 m² (6,460 ft²) façade with an estimated 30 years of bonded carbon build-up, the drone completed the job in less than one working day using water alone. A scaffolding contractor had estimated around a week on site for the same surface. The system operated continuously at 500 bar while its radar maintained a constant cleaning distance; the pilot never needed to correct it manually. At the same site, the C30 cleaned the outside of wort tanks coated layer upon layer over seven to eight years by liquid overflowing from the top.

Pressure loosens it. Flow washes it away.

The C30 is built around a physical principle that only a heavy-lift platform can fully exploit: pressure alone does not clean an industrial surface. High pressure breaks bonded deposits, coatings and rust away from the substrate. At 30 litres per minute, loosened material is immediately washed away. In industrial cleaning, rinsing capacity often determines speed more than pressure, and together they deliver up to four times the cleaning performance. On large façades and silo walls, radar-guided automated cleaning covers 4–10 m² per minute, depending on the surface and weather.

At this pressure and flow rate, most jobs do not require detergents. For oil, fuel or industrial grease, the system uses hot water, typically at 70–80°C, reducing the residue’s viscosity so it can be washed away. Most surfaces are cleaned using physical force and heat alone, without chemical runoff.

Designed for one task

Weighing 43 kg with its battery, the C30 was designed from the ground up as an industrial cleaning machine. An extended lance keeps the rotors further from the work surface. An extra-light flexible hose supplies water from the ground, so there is no heavy tank on board. Interchangeable nozzles adjust the balance between pressure and flow for each surface, and only the wear tip needs replacing. Radar-based automatic distance control maintains a precise, constant cleaning distance; advanced flight control keeps the drone stable in demanding conditions; and the fully sealed airframe withstands splashing water, high humidity, detergents and disinfectants.

Two configurations, tailored to the job

The C30 works with specially adapted high-performance ground equipment in two configurations:

C30 Compact Configuration • 500 bar | 15 L/min (7,250 psi | 4 gpm): heavy machinery such as excavators, mining equipment and cranes; concrete and formwork washing; paint and coating removal; and medium-sized commercial building exteriors.

C30 Maximum Industrial Configuration • 500 bar | 30 L/min (7,250 psi | 7.9 gpm): rust, paint and corrosion removal from steel structures and bridges; wind turbine blades where uneven deposits cause vibration and mechanical wear; descaling tanks, pipes and vessels; industrial buildings, logistics centres and silos; and hot-water degreasing.

For solar farms, nozzle and pump settings reduce pressure to a minimum while maintaining the full 30 L/min flow, giving delicate panels a gentle, high-volume, chemical-free wash.

A complete C Series

The C30 joins the C10 in ABZ Innovation’s C Series of industrial cleaning drones, one of the company’s best-selling product lines. The EU C5-certified C10, recognised with the CONSTRUMA 2026 Award, remains the precision tool for glass, façades, roofs, solar panels and everyday facility maintenance at heights of up to 60 metres. The C30 takes over when the work gets heavy.

Availability

The C30 is available to order from today through ABZ Innovation’s distributor and service partner network in more than 40 countries, with operator training, spare parts supply and long-term technical support. It is manufactured at ABZ Innovation’s new facility in Szentendre, Hungary, one of Europe’s largest dedicated civilian drone production sites, which opened in September 2026. In North America, the C30 will fly live at ElevateUAV 2026 in Hallandale Beach, Florida, on 17 and 18 November.
